As part of Language Week, FLSco primary and secondary students and their families were invited to the Lycée’s first International Breakfast.
Bringing together nearly fifty people from 20 different nationalities, this breakfast gave everyone the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas and experience the culture and language of their country of origin over local specialities: syrnikis, böreks, baklavas, babovkas, Bienenstich, Frikadellen, curry, pancakes, semolina cake…
We’re convinced that learning a new language involves all the senses, not least taste!
Everyone enjoyed themselves, and will be asking for more next year!
FLSco (Français Langue de Scolarisation) teaching focuses on the language learned and used at school.
Learning goes beyond the linguistic aspect of the language, by also focusing on the cultural norms of the school which, precisely, enable academic success.
Each year, this section welcomes around 30 students, from kindergarten to high school.
