The CE2 pupils discover the Düsseldorf Opera House

On Thursday, October 2, the CE2 A pupils visited the Düsseldorf Opera House to discover what happens behind the scenes of a place dedicated to music, dance, and theatre.

Guided through the building, they observed the set preparation for that evening’s performance and learned that a show can involve up to 300 professionals — from artists, musicians, and technicians to costume designers.

They even had the opportunity to step on stage, explore the backstage areas, and try on some costumes. This enriching experience helped them understand the teamwork and creativity needed to bring a performance to life.

The other CE2 classes will soon follow, experiencing their own immersion in the world of performing arts.

In November, they will return to the opera — this time as spectators — to attend Pinocchio, a wonderful way to conclude this artistic adventure!
