On June 28th, the school transformed into a celebration of colour and joy to mark the end of a year full of discoveries. A bright and festive day filled with vibrant performances, a lively fair, and a highly anticipated giant raffle!
From 9:30 am, families gathered to attend the big show prepared by pupils from preschool to Year 5. A joyful, colourful event reflecting the dedication of our teachers, with science — the school year’s central theme — once again taking centre stage.
The youngest children opened the show: the preschoolers lit up the stage dressed as bees, in rain boots and raincoats, exploring nature and weather — all in music and in three languages!
Then, the four elements — air, water, earth, and fire — symbolising the essential forces of nature, came to life in a poetic musical, enhanced by beautiful stage designs created by Ms Göbel and the preschool pupils.
Elementary pupils then took over. CP and CE1 pupils continued exploring nature through songs and dances celebrating bees and environmental protection. Next, Year 3 pupils sent the stage into orbit with a cosmic choreography, followed by a graceful planetary dance.
CM1 students moved the audience with The Symphony of Thunder, a powerful song about inner strength. Finally, CM2 brought energy and freshness with modern songs before a final performance in both German and English — a moment of shared joy for all classes.
The afternoon continued with a lively school fair: games, treats, challenges, laughter and togetherness. At exactly 2 pm, Mrs Chardon launched the much-awaited raffle: over 200 prizes donated by 16 generous sponsors were distributed. Cabaia backpacks and pouches and Legami pens were especially popular!
This fantastic event would not have been possible without the invaluable help of our parent volunteers — always present to help, animate, set up, cook or simply support. A huge thank you to each and every one of you for your generosity and enthusiasm!
