The CE2A kitchen

We like to… cook!

That’s what the pupils said when the teacher suggested a cooking workshop.
They liked it so much they even offered to write the article and tell us what it was like…

This is the story of cooking written by Alba, Zoé and Felix!
“Everyone brought their recipes and we voted for 8 recipes.
We chose almost exclusively sweet recipes.
We brought the ingredients we needed to make these recipes.
On Friday, the teacher formed 5 groups and we started preparing different recipes such as pancakes, apple turnovers, cornbread, Dutch cupcakes, chocolate mousse … We loved mixing, forming the Brezel, separating the yolk from the egg white and putting the cakes in the oven! We were able to use both the small kitchen oven and the kindergarten oven to bake our cakes. Once the cakes were ready, we left them to cool… and then enjoyed !!!!
The recipes were delicious but the 5 favorite recipes were: pancakes, apple turnovers, cornbread, chocolate fondant, lemon meringue pie, chocolate mousse and chestnut cream roll cake.”
In the end, the empty trays remained as proof that everything the students cooked was delicious.
We hope they’ll do it again soon, and share a few recipes with us.
