As we all know, the Olympics will be held in Paris this year.
The whole AEFE network, including our school, is honoring this event and dedicating this school year to sport.
Throughout the year, all classes, from kindergarten to high school, organize events and carry out projects around this theme.
This time, we’re presenting the CE2 classes.
Since last year, the pupils have had the opportunity to try out different types of sport.
The latest encounters were organized by parent volunteers, who came to the class or accompanied the pupils to the gym to present their favorite sport.
So far, the children have discovered the origins, practices and world of contemporary and classical dance, gymnastics, marathon running, surfing, archery and golf.
They also visited the Düsseldorf Balletthaus (training rooms, changing rooms, rest room, costume fitting room, slipper warehouse…) and were amazed by the performances of the professional classical dancers.
Sport is essential to everyone’s development and health.
It contributes to building skills and developing individual and collective values.
A unifying force in itself, and also a unifying force between students, teachers and parents.
We would like to thank all the parents, students and others who took part in these projects, and look forward to seeing what’s next with judo, tennis, capoeira, climbing, horse-riding and triathlon…
