Primary school classes celebrate the Elysée Treaty

While secondary school classes celebrated the Elysée Treaty in January, primary school classes had their own celebration in February.
The project drew on a wide range of disciplines to address a number of issues and bring this historic moment to life: the importance and history of the treaty were explained to the pupils by their teachers or their German teachers, the CM2 classes combined mathematics with painting and the plastic arts, and created a large peace arch which they proudly displayed after the show in the canteen for the whole school to enjoy…

A wonderful way to bring to life this page in the shared history of our two countries!
