One of the Kunstpalast’s current exhibitions is Christo and Jeanne-Claude.
The two kindergarten classes got ready and set off on a journey into the artist’s art and evolutionary history.
And if you’d like to visit the exhibition yourself, you can still do so: it’s still open until January 29.
As well as being visitors, the children also told their teachers about the discoveries they had made at the museum.
Below, you’ll find their stories.
“We went to the Kunstpalast. It’s a museum. We took the streetcar there. We ate a snack at the Kunstpalast. We visited the “Christo and Jeanne-Claude” exhibition.
CHRISTO has packed things: big things, but also small things.
We saw things packed: a car (VW Beetle) – we drew the car; the Arc de Triomphe; a couture bust; the Bundestag in Berlin.
CHRISTO also packed a very large house, a church, a doll, a motorcycle, trees, a tunnel and an island!
He also drew his constructions.
He blocked a street with cans to make a wall and just to take a photo, because the police didn’t want him to leave them.
We finished the tour and took the streetcar back to school.
It was a great day!
We really enjoyed it!
It was very nice and pretty!”
