With all the CM1 pupils, we carried out a Christmas project:
The “Post mit Herz” association’s mission is to bring a little joy to people who are isolated during the festive season.
To this end, the association offers to create or write postcards all over Germany, which are then sent to various institutions, such as retirement homes, shelters for the homeless, children’s homes and hospices.
A retirement home in Kiel was assigned to us, and the CM1 pupils (all levels of German) made and wrote 41 cards.
This project enabled the students to work on different skills: creativity, empathy and the ability to think and express themselves, all in German.
The children carried out this Christmas project with joy and enthusiasm.
