The main objective was to observe the trees, soil and vegetation that make up this ecosystem. The trip enabled the pupils to discover, in a concrete way, certain essential aspects of nature. It was also an opportunity to see or review their vocabulary: some in French, some in German and some in English.<\/p>\n<p>The pupils learned to identify the protective role of tree bark and had the opportunity to touch the moss that covered some of the trunks. They also observed the presence of parasites, such as fungi, that can develop in this environment.<\/p>\n<p>A more precise observation exercise was carried out by marking out a space on the ground with a hoop. They placed soil, moss and leaves in the jars, so that in the coming days they could observe how these micro ecosystems evolved. The aim of this exercise is to help them better understand the importance of forests and green spaces, not only for the environment, but also for everyone&#8217;s well-being.<\/p>\n<p>Science, as a body of knowledge based on observable and verifiable facts, plays an essential role in understanding the world around us.
