class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Introducing students to eco-citizenship and raising their awareness of sustainable development are actions that have been part of the school project for several years.<br \/>\nThe school is actively involved in the fight against food waste in the canteen, the ADN Carbone 0 project, initiated by the AEFE, and the recent D\u00fcsselkronen project. <\/p>\n<p>To continue this fight, the CM2 classes have prepared a new project: waste sorting.<\/p>\n<p>Fighting pollution everywhere and all the time is essential to protecting the planet.<br \/>\nSorting packaging and paper helps considerably, not only to reduce the amount of waste, but also because this packaging can be recycled, thus saving natural resources.<br \/>\nThis is already the case in our homes, but outside, in the streets, in natural spaces or at school, there&#8217;s still a long way to go.  <\/p>\n<p>Taking responsibility is also an educational exercise.<br \/>\nThat&#8217;s why, without wasting any time, the CM2 students are getting involved in another eco-responsible project involving all the elementary school classes. <\/p>\n<p>Their representatives explained by CM2 pupils<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<div>Here is the garbage can project that we, the CM2s, helped to set up in several stages:<\/div>\n<div>First of all, the school wanted to introduce 3 types of garbage can per class, so as to implement the same selective sorting in every classroom in the school: a blue one for paper and cardboard, a yellow one for plastic and packaging, and a grey one for organic waste.<\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div>1 In September\/October, the two classes of CM2 went to make an inventory of all the dustbins in the school.<\/div>\n<div>2. Based on this inventory, the manager has ordered the missing blue, yellow and grey garbage cans.<\/div>\n<div>3. In November\/December, we distributed 3 garbage cans to each class at the elementary school, on which we stuck stickers corresponding to the waste.<br \/>\nThe primary school <span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">now has a &#8220;P\u00f4le de Tri Trilectif&#8221;.<\/span> <\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div>Since January 24, the cleaning company has been emptying only the gray garbage cans every evening.<br \/>\nThe CE2, CM1 and CM2 classes themselves empty their blue and yellow garbage cans into the outside containers. <\/div>\n<div>In addition, the CE2, CM1 and CM2 classes are responsible, on a rota basis, for emptying the garbage cans of the kindergarten, CP and CE1 classes twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays.<\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div>This system will soon be introduced in secondary
