students in the elementary school&#8217;s American international section went there for two afternoons.<br \/>\nIt was the perfect outing for Language Week!   <\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">On arrival, they were greeted by a team of volunteers who offered the students lunch in the library before starting the tour.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The librarians guided our students on how to borrow books, research topics and become members.<br \/>\nStudents looked for books related to current Non-Linguistic Discipline (NLD) themes, but also publications of personal interest.<br \/>\nWith books in hand, our students settled down in a quiet area to read or enjoy a book read by one of the volunteers.<br \/>\nSurprised by our students&#8217; high level of English, the librarians were curious to discover the forms of learning they were able to benefit from.   <\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Founded in 1946 by a British regiment, the library boasts over 26,000 publications, from the classics to the most contemporary, and is managed by an international team.<br \/>\nIts aim is to strengthen the community around the English language and culture.   <\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">If you would like to become a member, please note that annual membership costs 7 euros per child, 14 euros per adult, with the possibility of borrowing up to twenty books at a time.<br \/>\nThe library also serves the community in many other ways, from reading books to toddlers on Saturdays to running a debate club for secondary school students.   <\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">We would like to
